“I did laugh a lot at this podcast certainly when your guest cringed over all the descriptions of fours -especially designated fours from the office. And I love what Richard said about if you want an edgy comedy, you’ve got to have a bunch of unhealthy fours in it. I think that was what he said.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you about my experiences with fours. I will hint that I am in the feelings triad, but I have lived a majority of my life not being in touch with how I feel. I have two different nieces, not related to each other, that are fours. When I was going to a really difficult time the niece that lived nearest me helped me very much because she emoted all over the place. It was somewhat shocking to me, but in the next few minutes she was feeling something entirely different. She was unafraid to express herself and I learned a that it was ok to just ‘feel’. In fact we had a great laugh because one day she told me that she’s always worrying about the future or fretting over the past. I told her I lived mostly in the moment, so we became the “space-time continuum “!
My other niece had a baby last year and she is expressing his feelings and thoughts all the time for him! It’s hilarious. But I love how in touch she is with what’s going on in her mind and emotions.
I want you to know that I love your podcast and that you two are ridiculous-which is why I listen. Oh yes-and I’m slightly obsessed with the enneagram!
Jeanette”
