Glad they are willing to discuss this
Often porn and other self-serving habits and choices in marriage are symptomatic of a spouse who has either a personality disorder (Narcissistic is often present) or underlying emotional dysfunction that she/he tries to soothe with poorly chosen coping mechanisms (depressed, anxiety, etc. soothed with near any feeling of “high” be it sexual, drugs, shopping out of control, food addiction). If you have the Narcissistic spouse, educate yourself and stop giving your spouse any more time. The sooner a Narcissist loses everything, the better. If your spouse is the emotional anxious or depressed and feels true sorrow and wants to exercise reparations, I would encourage you to work with your spouse and on your own healing. Narcissists have utterly turned their back on God. Some others falling prey to this idiotic, self-serving sin have not turned on God completely as the Narcissist has.
