The Writing Episode: 826NYC, Library of America and Walking in Other People's Shoes
Listen now
Description
This episode, my friend Preya Singh and I look at the art of writing through the lens of three very different interviews.  We start with the benefits of creative chaos orchestrated by 826NYC and the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co.  We then hear how the Library of America is preserving and sharing the American experience.  And we finish with Walking in Other People's Shoes which is building a community of women sharing inspiring stories of struggle, perseverance and triumph. I want to thank all my guests for being generous with their time including Ellie Windham, Joshua Mandelbaum and Max Rudin.  I was also excited to work with Yaniza and incorporate her music throughout the episode.  The Centre for Social Innovation continues to be a very valuable resource.  And I'm happy I was able to reconnect with my thoughtful friend, my cohost, Preya!   Yaniza: http://www.yanizadore.com/music
