The song that plays in the background is a beautiful example of vernacular poetry.
डेग नमभर सो दुलहा चले छथ कोना
जेन बंधन से बकरा भगे छै तेना
सखी हे दूल्हा के बकरा कहलिए कोना
जेना अजकुल के छी सब बालक जेना
O' why does the groom walk so fast, almost like a goat just out of captivity,
O' why do you call the groom a goat?
Because he is from Aajkul.
AJKUL - RAM'S LINEAGE | 'AAJ' Also means Goat.
Folklore has it that this song was sung in Mithilanchal when Lord Ram went to claim Sita's hand in marriage.
Composed in Maithili dialect from the Mithlanchal region of today's Bihar, once home and the birthplace of Sita, the song speaks of a tradition from the region, where the brides family playfully teases the groom and his family in an attempt to break the ice.
This song beautifully sets the tone of the episode and is a complete contrast to the confusion and doubts and questions that are ailing Noor. On one hand, everyone is at the door welcoming the groom and on the other Noor stands in the lobby by the window, her eyes searching for ‘Him’....

'In the end there was no drama, no smart conversations, no more words left to be said, in the end there was a long pause which had the possibility to never end, in the end she just left'
'Bas' ends the journey of Noor, the nameless man and Elakshi... this is the last episode of the series, hope...
