A murder/creepy/sci-fi equivalent of creepy pasta
I am truly sick to death of the innumerable and Podcasts dealing with true crime, ghosts and mysteries ETEC. They also proliferate on YouTube. Growing up genre of entertainment are used to find so utterly captivating and entertaining has become pure tedium. Until, I happened upon Dr no sleep. He is very akin to have another very superior channel on YouTube called nightmare files. This channel in particular is so unique in its delivery style and calibre of story. The stories are gory but without going into too much gratuitous detail. The delivery and background music serves as a very unsettling undertone. This is what gives it its edge. It is so unique. I really like the way it intermingles true stories with fiction you really can’t tell whether it’s true or not and maybe you just don’t want to know.
