Excellent podcast - Very heavily focused on British perspective
As a big fan of WW1 history, this is an excellent podcast with some new, and interesting in-depth angles. Good pace, well told, and not dry at all! Also love how they know all the battlefields and can speak from an intimate knowledge of the locations. Big point of attention - similar to almost all British podcasts, this one again falls in the trap of almost exclusively focussing on the British perspective. Almost nothing on the French, German, or American battles, perspectives, etc, except to specifically contrast the English version of events. Almost as if Britain was fighting alone on the Western front against some amorphous German enemy blob. With the extensive knowledge both hosts possess, this seems like a real miss.

I have never joined a podcast’s...Read full review »
