“I love Kara’s story and perspective as she learns about life in Jesus. As a new believer she is zealous which I love but she has a tendency to discard everything supernatural because it may be like what she came out of. I get it but it’s not Biblical. Pentecost was a first century phenomenon as documented in the chapter of Acts when the Holy Spirit was sent to help the New Testament church. Speaking in tongues is not “gibberish” and is not unBiblical or a 20th century trend. And modern “revival” could very possibly be the Holy Spirit working through the prayers of the church to revive a sleeping world. Don’t be so quick to discount the supernatural. Yes, evil spirits exist but “greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” Use discernment instead of blanket condemnation.”
