Argh. It’s not the “Where-mock” — also CREDIT YOUR SOURCES
You don’t seem to understand anything about the end of WWII (honestly how much do you know about the atrocities in WWII?!) in Europe, and when the German army formally surrendered while the Red Army marched into sections of Germany (think utter chaos — you may want to read about what the Germans did to the Russians when Nazi Germany invaded Russia). You also, naively, seem to think that the remaining Nazis were worried about German civilians at that point. Hint — they weren’t! I was interested in your episode on Demmin; however, your incredible laziness, made evident by the total lack of interest in pronouncing Wehrmacht correctly right from the start when you could learn the correct pronunciation in ten seconds by listening to a YouTube video, was so frustrating. Also, please credit sources properly — you can’t just read whole sections of a scholar’s book without indicating exactly what you are quoting (it’s not enough to just mention a title — just reading whole sections without appropriate attribution is plagiarism).

Loving this podcast! It’s like hanging out and chatting w your best girlfriends but they have interesting, historic stories to tell instead of just what new bottle of rosé they blacked out on last night.

The best place to go to know everything about everything I didn’t know I needed to know. Dedicated to their cause, and always...Read full review »

I feel that the F$*# was used far too much in this episode. I can’t recommend this to anyone to listen to because the word is used so much it was more offensive than the story they told. Maybe use a thesaurus to learn some alternative words to express your horror towards the atrocities that she...Read full review »
