Education, not Fear-mongering
I started listening to this show about a year ago, and I have enjoyed getting the facts about political news without the rhetoric that I used to get from other news outlets. As a result, I actually feel better informed and more confident about the American political system. The information is presented clearly, and the hosts seem like they are enjoying their job; that’s a refreshing change from other shows that always make it sound like the end is near. One suggestion that I would make, though, is about Mara Liasson. Too often, her bias comes through. Since the other hosts rarely if ever let their biases show, the contrasts really makes her stand out in a bad way. She should not be removed from the show, but definitely needs to present the facts and let the listener make their own decisions.

I appreciate the youthful energy of this podcast compared with the more traditional npr shows. It's fun yet still very informative.Read full review »

Way too much cute banter and not enough real discussion. What might make for fun conversation around the coffee maker is not worth recording and broadcasting. C'mon NPR, you can do better.Read full review »
