Listen now
Description
Podcasts have been around for more than a decade and now more than ever it seems new ones are introduced regularly. And it turns out there are a lot of podcasts connected to math that you have access to through your earbuds. In this session, you’ll be introduced to podcasts that you can use to help tell stories about math to your students, podcasts that have real world connections to math that help show its importance to everyday life, and more recently, podcasts explicitly to help you as a math teacher become better at what you are already doing. Come to this session ready to listen, learn and be entertained. This is the full audio version of the OAME 2023 talk.
