In episode 19 of Obscure Image Podcast, I sit down with "Martel" who is 1 of 3 Devs from Archangel studios; the developers behind the rpg video game "Bleak Faith Forsaken". In this this interview i talk to Martel on how he and his brother grew up in the Balkans, how they got into game development, being an "indie" game dev studio, the inspiration behind Bleak Faith, mechanics in the game, and them being compared to other "Souls Like" games such as Elden Ring. We also talk about their reaction to streamer "Asmon Gold" Playing Bleak Faith, the game going viral, constructive criticism, playtesting before launch, the game having problems on launch, the accusations of them allegedly stealing animations, the future of bleak faith, and so much more. I enjoyed speaking to Martel not only about Bleak Faith but about his childhood and upbringing.
