Did I accidentally click on CNN or something?
Not even 5 minutes in to what I thought was going to be an engrossing true-crime podcast, and the host inexplicably gets lost and climbs on an unrelated cOnSeRvAtIvEs ArE bAd PeOpLe!!1! soapbox, how incredibly tiresome and obnoxious. How about just telling the story without making the audience feel like they’re listening to left-wing propaganda? Believe it or not, even people that share your views didn’t click on a true crime podcast because they actually wanted to hear more politics. Very disappointing. She effectively ruined her credibility as a journalist right off the bat.

More reviews of O.C. Swingers
AudioChuck is the gold standard of true crime podcasts but this one is a miss, so far. It doesn’t have the hooks to keep you coming back for more. There is no drama. The thrill and intrigue are missing. Chuck needs to come to the rescue to make this regular listening.

Very interesting topic. And every story has a back story and this pod does a great job of telling the whole story.

Why in the first episode you spend 20 min describing the political party of Newport Beach. Not very impressed so far
