Truly researched?
I was enjoying it until the “expert” interviewed revealed she clearly doesn’t know how CODIS works in the 2nd episode. It calls into question all the research for the podcast in my opinion. In a very simplified nutshell, any foreign profile in a rape case goes into CODIS to be searched indefinitely - whether there is a suspect or not. These rules for CODIS and how it actually works would have been easily discovered with a little bit of effort. When someone is implying conspiracy or misconduct it seems like you should double check.

This podcast has a strong narrative and I’m not talking story-line.
