The best and most authentic storytelling out there.
I stumbled across this about 2 years ago and it’s been a staple in my listening library ever since. Steve and Cam are UNBELIEVABLY good writers. Like it’s not even funny how good and engaging these stories are. Dense, full of lore, rich tapestries of an Appalachia I’ve never been to but feel like I know it intimately. Steve’s vocal performance of the majority of the episodes never feels false and his ability to be both himself and countless others at the same time is enchanting. I have tried other podcast story heavy options and nothing comes close. Bravo. Steve and Cam.
