Description
Jon Doehr of the Hobey Baker committee gives us some insight on the award for college hockey's top player, tells us how high school coaches can submit their players for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award, and talks some college hockey in general. Brendan Furry, currently a sophomore for the nationally-ranked Minnesota State Mavericks and part of the 2015 state title team for Toledo St. Francis, tells the improbable story of his development path that switched away from a plan to play for the BGSU club team to a USHL tryout, eventually leading to multiple offers from elite NCAA programs and a key role on one of the top teams in college hockey. A truly amazing story.
