He’s right, unfortunately
Yes, everything is indeed a brand, but that’s no cause for celebration. Universal commodification flattens out all the richness and idiosyncrasies of life and renders everything and everyone commensurate in terms of profit values. It’s doubtless the way things are, and the smart money will rightly embrace it, but it’s society’s loss that this is so. To all the weirdos and failures who can’t successfully brand themselves in the digital marketplace - the blessings of Eris be unto you, dear brothers and sisters! Xxx

This is in my top two podcasts now, I listen to Mea Culpa and now On Brand almost exclusively. So far Donnie has had excellent guests; the Michael J Fox episode was great! I hope to see Michael Cohen make an appearance as well. Im looking forward to the next episode!

Based on the first two episodes, I would not bet on this podcast succeeding. Donny’s very talented and articulate but it looks like he’s having trouble getting good guests.
