Very hard to hear
The talk was very good, but I found I had to concentrate very hard just to hear what was being said. The background pub noise frequently made it impossible to listen to what you without straining to hear it. It’s very difficult to make a serious point over shrieks of background laughter. Please spare a thought for those of your listeners who may be a bit hard of hearing or suffer from tinnitus. Oh, and please introduce your guests before they start talking. I found myself googling “Elizabeth journalist observer Boris Johnson” to find out who she is and that is someone considerably more than just Phillip Lee’s sister-in-law. I really wanted to give this a 5* review. I thought the substance of the conversation was excellent. I will listen to the next one in the hope that I know who I’m listening to and that I’m not totally distracted by the noises off.

Sensible people just talking honestly without any points scoring, blustering and fabrication, how refreshing just to have a nice fireside chat and reflection 👍🏼
