Rick Olivares, unbeknownst to some, signed Parokya ni Edgar and Datu's Tribe to their first pro contracts as well as managed Esremborak and Fuseboxx. He's a former Universal Records A&R/Label Manager and handled the promotions and sales of jazz artists like Jim Chappell and Peter White as well (locally). He currently writes articles and reviews for local and international publications.
