“Love listening to the podcast! You ladies always explore the different aspects and viewpoints of the characters and moments in the show. Also, enjoy the random 'non OUAT' conversation topics because they are funny and always make me laugh. A sidenote: I am a long time Xena fan. The 'relationship' between Xena and Gabrielle was a friendship at the start of the show. However, fans saw the wonderful chemistry between the two characters and the 'shipping fandom' was born. The creators and actresses of the show began adding 'subtext' to certain episodes and became very supportive of the fans who believed in that relationship. In later seasons, that relationship became canon. Just wanted to answer your Xena question in the last podcast. Thanks!”
