“I could tell from listening to the podcast that these ladies clearly enjoy and like talking about the show and its episodes. Some things I enjoy:
1) Both Amanda and Brittany's top five list
2) The lighter side of OUaT and news segments
3) differing opinions between Amanda and Brittany about the episode and its characters
Some things I think they need to work on:
1) This is only one example, but I listened to their latest Thursday short segment discussing the (then) upcoming episode "The Broken Kingdom" and I face palmed when both Amanda and Brittany couldn't even remember what the title of the episode was called. Seriously? I love you girls, but how can you do a podcast episode and not be prepared? In addition to this, it bothers me when they get information wrong about past episodes and what had occurred in them. This is a minor criticism since it might be a very small detail or character action they didn't recall. I understand they might not remember everything if, let's say, they're discussing episode 5 of season 5 and then they talk about something from episode 1 of season 1, but for the podcast episodes where they do season rewatches, I expect them to have their info down about whatever season they've rewatched.
2) Brittany's occasional insertion of "I don't know" after she expressed an opinion. I'll be blunt, it gets repetitive hearing her speak like this because her saying "I don't know" after expressing an opinion makes her sound unsure about her own opinion. My advice is to stop the habit and be more confident about what you are asserting because everyone listening definitely cares about your opinion even if we don't necessary agree with your views.”
