🤔Traci v. The World
The 1980s porn industry is not going to redeem itself with this account. Exploitation of teenage trauma and abuse to stack $$$. The way this story and podcast is presented makes it sound as if the industry that used her was somehow justified because she was there participating, and just sooooo f- - - able and seductive. You give an awful lot of power to that trauma in fueling the brains behind Traci’s savvy and business acumen. Maybe it was survival. Think about it: Would you have an issue if your 15 year old kid was having sex with multiple, older people? Your kid can’t consent. If anyone is keeping score at home, Traci was raped at 10 by a kid several years older, abused by her stepdad and exploited by the Porn Industry. Come down off your moral highground here, Podcast hosts, you have none. Also, Sharon Mitchell is doing God’s work so shout out to her.

I felt ashamed to listen to even the first episode. I am a trauma therapist and this is so ill informed and not appropriate for entertainment. There are a lot of ways to tell a story, including this one. But this way is quite wrong. Total trash.
