“I love Traci, and I greatly appreciate Ashley West and the Research that goes into the Rialto Report. I enjoy hearing the colorful history about the industry’s “golden age”. That said, I’ve always thought the site turned a weirdly blind eye to the indiscretions of a mob-run industry that exploited performers who started off underaged— Jean Jennings, Sharon Mitchell, and Traci Lords among possibly many others. I’m willing to hear how this podcast shakes out, but not looking forward to hearing a spin wherein porn insiders deflect their role in a human trafficking situation. Hopefully this listening experience will evolve into a more balanced take on the story.”

“This is one of those podcasts that’s really treats it’s listeners like we’re a bit dim.
