We live in a hyperactive and connected digital world where everything is moving online including people’s interactions.  One of the biggest disadvantages of such a transition is that now we get access to people’s personal and professional lives in seamless ways like we’ve never had before, whether that be through social media, LinkedIn or any other online platform.  With that comes a lot of conscious and subconscious comparisons with other people’s lives and career transitions, which if done consistently could be unhealthy to any individual, especially to younger generations. In this episode, I decided to explore this topic and cover some of the healthy and unhealthy ways of comparing ourselves to others, because believe it or not, our brain is designed to compare itself to its surroundings by default.
