Why the shade?
I’ve been listening since this podcast started and enjoyed it at first. However, as the podcast progressed, I’ve noticed the host will make snide comments about Massachusetts and New England. If the shade was spread around to other regions and just jokes made in good fun, I would laugh along. But the tone is condescending. And it’s weird to hear an insult about how a state is spelled while listening to a Bigfoot story. The host repeatedly shows an anti-North bias that is unnecessary in a paranormal podcast. Perhaps I don’t appreciate the show because it’s geared toward a much younger audience.

More reviews of One Strange Thing
Narrated in a strange sing-songy voice. I didn’t like it, just irritating. The content is good if you can get past the voice and the odd noodling background music. 👎🏻

15 min is too short to charge a premium. I don’t spend real money on digital content that is not Above and Beyond. I dumped premium on much better content when the quality dropped and this never rose high enough to hit the mark of paid. Hard pass.

Topics and delivery sound boring and uninterested.Information on par with reading wikipedia or Atlas Obscura.
