Entire podcast that didn’t tell the story
This entirely excluded the recollections of the tons of African American and minority women who actually performed in the roles as operators. Yet, it is acknowledged more than once that these are the employees that made the money that was used by the higher ups to buy all of their planes and homes. It’s pretty disgusting. And the host acts as if we are supposed to sympathize with the business partners who took advantage of these women. But that is to be expected seeing as she ignored how these women were exploited. Talk to the real foot soldiers or call this what it was- a revisionist history of a company that flopped after taking advantage of and looking down upon the African American and minority women from which it attained success.

Excellent content! Thank you for introducing me to a story I didn’t know I was interested in, and for the fantastic writing, great interviews, and high production value that makes this feel more like a documentary and less like a podcast. Great work!

Hard to stop listening. An incredibly well Crafted story told by an energetic and talented Operetor in the industry. You have to hear her story and then she provides the vivid detail about an industry we all knew about in but this is just fascinating to hear the truth. Loved it!

The host’s energy and lived experience makes for a unique angle to a story...Read full review »
