What happened to soulful genuine conversations?
I used to look forward to podcast releases on Monday and Wednesday mornings. This season has been disappointing. I don’t believe famous people have all the answers - and most interviews have been with famous people. It seems like the effort has been to celebrate those who have reached celebrity status as if that status gives them more importance, insight and wisdom than the average person. Last season seemed more authentic - interviews with thinkers, authors, survivors... no stage, no applause - just intimate, soulful conversations. That is why I tuned in and had so many take aways. Unfortunately this podcast has lost its “soul” and seems now to be a platform for celebrities and hype. The world needs more soul... this podcast needs a mission statement that it sticks with. Is it soulful conversations or interviews with famous people in front of a crowd? Trying to combine the two doesn’t work for me.

I am an avid podcast listener, and this one is excellent. Powerful women, discussing difficult life issues that we all struggle with. It kept me engaged completely. Can't wait for the series to continue.Read full review »

I keep looking and looking and looking for a good podcast with only mediocre results. But now I have found a great one! This is what I want a podcast to be!
