“This was a great podcast idea however when the show is under 8 minutes long most days and starts with 1.5 min of ads and ends with another minute of ads it’s not worth the time.
If they get their ads back below 25% of the podcast I may resubscribe.
You’re not fooling anyone when you start with “real quick we recommend...” followed by 90 seconds of ads before “let’s get right to this post” and then fly through the post followed by another minute of ads at the end. It’s even worse when they do two articles in one podcast. The 1.5 min at the beginning and minute of ads at the end get an additional 30-60 seconds of ads in the middle turning the episode into nearly 50% ads.
I get it that you need to make money but I’m not subscribing to an ad podcast with occasional information when there are so many other podcasts out there.”
