“As a descendant of formerly incarcerated Japanese Americans, most of my family born in the US, both of my parents were incarcerated as small children with their respective families, I cannot express how important it is that this era of American history be examined and told. This series does an excellent job of presenting the stories, offering many first hand accounts of the loss and damage to families that occured from this horrific event in our nations history.
With the current political climate, I think that this is a timely reminder of what can happen when fear and sometimes outright racism are used as weapons, even against our own citizens.”
