Great examination of how we change
The ERA is a benefit to everyone, including men. If we’re ever going to manage to move forward in supporting new parents and families, it’s critical women have equal rights. I realize women having rights has somehow become a contentious issue in 2020 but it is worth examining why it couldn’t pass and why it should probably updated to ensure the goal of protecting women’s rights, and spaces, isn’t actually destroyed by this bill. If anyone can be a woman then we’ve lost before we started.

I am absolutely loving this show and the way it uses Kate’s personal story to explain the ERA. It’s an engaging, informative, and important listen during these crazy times.

Such an intricate and nuanced history of the ongoing fight for the ERA.

I can’t stress this enough, you are doing the world a favor by existing and communicating something so unfairly stigmatized and made evil. Thank you.
