We are excited to bring you the October 2019 Edition of the OSSB Podcast. In this episode we will travel down to the Kentucky School for the Blind with the Elementary for the Bill Roby games that happened on October 3rd. Students in our ILS department bring us to Links Lemonade and talk about what they had to eat and how to use a budget to plan a meal. This month our health classes did some research on health organizations which have significant impact on our community. We will learn about Women’s International Center - Honoring, Encouraging, and Educating Women Around the World (WIC), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the World Health Organization. Each month we introduce a new staff member in our OSSB family and this month we meet our IEP coordinator Mrs. Welch. Our goalball team invited us to a practice and we catch up with some alumni from our championship team: Donald and Brandon. We talk with more alumni who have come back for our transition to work program. October 15 is white cane day.
