Compliments with Constructive Criticism
I’ve been meaning to write this review since a few episodes back...and the latest episode (“biological urges”) finally propelled me. I like listening to this podcast above all because it goes below the surface of the material in deep, interesting, and thoughtful ways. I think the content on this show goes deeper than that of the other shows that I’ve listened to on the Geek Therapy Network. What Is frustrating though is I often see cohost Giam taking the conversation in what I consider to be a very intriguing direction only for cohost Josue to bring Giam’s chain of thought to a jarring halt, often through criticism and what comes across to me as rigidity or defensiveness. My hope for the show is that the dialogue can be conducted in a more open and less defensive way when the two have different points of view, tastes, and sensibilities, as they frequently do. Hopefully, this review will be received in the constructive way in which it was intended in order to make the show even better.

This show really delves into how real people respond to anime. There is a rawness to the show that I really connected with.
