“We are a whole family. Every day I see you on the track working hard and I’m right behind you working hard. We’re going through the same connection and same process. Being a Gator, there’s nothing like it.” Jasmine Todd and Katelyn Hutchison chat with sprinter Joseph Fahnbulleh, who turned pro this summer after leading Florida to an NCAA outdoor team title. He was named a Bowerman semifinalist after winning the NCAA 100m and 200m titles and anchoring the Gators to a runner-up finish in the 4x100m relay. After the collegiate season, he went on to finish fourth at the World Athletics Championships 200m final. In this conversation, he shares his journey to the biggest stages in the world including the Tokyo Olympics and walks though the process of turning professional, signing with an agent and landing a major sportswear and footwear contract with Asics.
