“This is a good podcast but the gap in between episodes means that it loses momentum and immediacy. Last episode is an interview with Paul Wellens. In the time that was recorded he has took full control of a super league club, travelled 12000 miles, completed the greatest achievement that any club has ever done in the game, returned via a lengthy Bangkok Stockholm air flight, overseen a week of training and won the next round of super league. There’s no immediate reaction that we now get from The 40 20 podcast, the House of League, Bloke in a bar and The Bye Round. Even the BBC can get things out more quickly. I know there’s coffee shops to run but are you gonna do it properly or are you just messing about?”
