Refreshing and Vital
This podcast is doing something for me that I haven’t experienced for years. I remember when I began studying theology which led me to attend seminary. I remember being astounded by the counterintuitive Lutheran take on Justification, Faith, the Hidden/Revealed God, Sanctification, etc. I remember having my presuppositions about these subjects smashed over and over, replaced with a view that I never would have expected. For the first time studying theology was rebuking, correcting, and repenting me in line with what God spoke through the prophet Isaiah (55:8 ESV): “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.” This podcast is doing what I haven’t experienced since my pre-seminary/seminary days. This is how theology should be: refreshing, surprising, invigorating, exciting...true! I have heard many Bible teachers over the years. Some bad, some good, and some great. You’ll find two of the best in this podcast.

A rock in a dry and thirsty land. So very enlightening.

A lot of material, much of it quite dense, presented in an accessible and engaging manner

I greatly appreciate this podcast and getting to benefit from Dr. Paulson’s teaching. I do believe that Erasmus might have had a few objections to it were he still with us. : )
