Stellar interaction with philosophy and theology
This is the most clear podcast out there if you really want to understand how and where Luther diverged from, not only Medieval Church thought at his time, but from all philosophers ever. As shocking as that may sound, from the Bhagavad Gita to Athens, the idea that natural law can make one righteous pervades all religious and philosophical thought, from ancient times up through the philosophers of today. Only God’s Word stands against this idea, and Paulson pulls together a thorough and comprehensive exposition of Luther’s analysis of this, from a wide swathe of Luther’s greatest works.
