The cutting edge of contemporary Lutheran theology and spirituality
Re: theology. This podcast with Steven Paulson has helped me get into most of the current conversations in Lutheran theology in a productive but critical way. If you ever hear people prattling on about Gerhard Forde and how evil or heretical he is (and how evil Paulson is by extension) and are wondering what all the fuss is about, this podcast might help clear it up. Fans of Oswald Bayer will especially appreciate Paulson‘s approach. Re: spirituality, the podcast points back again and again to Luther’s key reformation insights about justification by faith. It will encourage your heart, even if you have some reservations about their points. I listen to it while I run and find myself returning to these ideas in prayer quite often.
