“I didn’t think I was going to like this story at first, but Rory Culkin has a compelling voice that made me willing to give give it a chance, and by the third chapter I was hooked. The post-apocalyptic story starts off deceptively generic, but then things quickly take a series of weird and unexpected turns. The mood is at once chilling and sweet. My one complaint is that the final chapter leaves a huge unfinished piece of business (in my view at least) which I’m hoping is the starting point for a second season.”
