Smells Odd
A podcast smells? I didn’t know anything at all about trucking so I gave the 1st episode a try. It’s almost too well done and upon thinking about it later I’m 80% sure that it’s made with the backing of the group trying to eliminate the newer safety rules. That’s fine, anyone has the right to make anything that they want but I found it interesting that it was the first podcast that seemed to be a propaganda piece. The attention to detail, the attempt at making it sound down to Earth and the Hollywood style voiceover just rubs me the wrong way. It try’s so hard to be real but the seems still show. Maybe I’m wrong but it deserves a deeper look into who is paying for it and why.

I don’t have any personal connections to trucking, but I look forward every week to new episodes. A fascinating look into a side of America that I don’t normally see. And, of course, his voice is phenomenal.

I listened as I walked my dog along the canal in Ireland. I fell in love with every aspect of the show. Paul, his voice, his love for all...Read full review »
