“What an enigmatic painting. No I didn’t fall asleep Laura you and Phil always put on a great show. This one was exceptional and having ‘pulled’ it apart I am still seeing ‘things’ in the painting that did not appear on a previous view. That chap (Aladin!) on the end of the boat is totally out of scale and would surely have capsized the boat. I am convinced the colours are merely brush strokes to give the illusion of a person? I may stand corrected but I just don’t know. This is the art of art surely.
Shall look forward to the next one. All the previous ‘painting of the week’ podcasts have been viewed and are fabulous. Keep up the great work 👍 My wife & I do enjoy Exhibition on Screen at the cinema as we find getting to an exhibition not so easy from Coastal Suffolk 🤔 Keep them coming. Thanks Mike New x”
