But I’m not allowed to eat before I light the Menorah.[3] 4) May a Jewish man who is married to a non-Jewish woman be called to the Torah? If he’s a Kohen, does he forfeit the privileges of Kehunah? May he duchen? [4] 5) The wind blew my trampoline from my garden, over an 8ft hedge, to the street, where it landed on a neighbour’s car, lopping off a wing-mirror. Am I liable?[5] 6) I sell jewellery. A Jewish man wishes to buy a ring for his wedding a non-Jewish woman. May I sell him the ring?[6] 7) Feedback on the saga of the coffee en route to work:[7] a) Does travelling in a car have the same status as a traveller on foot? b) I’m standing at the bus-stop and I say a brocho and begin eating a snack. The bus arrives and I get on board; new brocho? 8) I have a haphazard pile of Seforim.
