Show is great, host is a dud
I really like the English guy Reeves Cooke. He's got a pleasant voice, he's smart, tells a ripping good tale and really dives into the stories with some fascinating research. You can tell he spends a lot of time preparing for each show. Well done. I dock one star, however, for the host. He's constantly interrupting Mr. Cooke with inane, vacuous and downright annoying questions. "Let me get this straight" he'll say, then proceed to repeat exactly what Reeves has just said, only in a much stupider fashion. Hey, buddy. You aren't getting anything straight. You are simply adding to the confusion that swirls in your already addled brain. And then there's his pronunciation of certain well known words. Macabre, for example. He insists on saying muh-CARB. Excuse me? Muh-CARB is what I ingest when I eat muh-PASTA. Macabre, on the other hand, is something quite different. Please bring in another host, someone who can follow a simple narrative exposition and not insist on repeating the obvious or derailing the storyline with dunderheaded diversions. Or better yet, just let the English dude go alone. He's more than capable of handling this gig solo.

This is an incredible show. The topics are unique, and the hosts are a great fit. Too bad they appear to have ended the podcast.

Very serious look at paranormal incidents, mostly centered on the UK. Worth a listen, it is one of my favorite podcasts
