“Dan Katz, PFT, and crew have figured out the winning formula. Relatable, ridiculous, clever, sardonic and inclusive.
Katz in particular is genius. He has an uncanny ability to keep the show light and engaging, skillfully managing interviews and balancing out PFTs antics (which are funny, but less nuanced/restrained) without sacrificing his role or showing-up his co-hosts.
They also are great at implicitly defining a show culture and personal values without getting overtly political or judgmental.
Still wish they would rein in some of the needlessly explicit content that has handicapped the larger BS brand (or distance themselves from it.) Irreverence is most compelling as thoughtful dissent, not antagonistic content.”
