Bad habit or biological norm?
Is a small baby falling asleep while feeding a “bad habit” or just a biological norm (and also a cultural norm in many societies around the world.) Overnight, breast milk is specifically designed with several sleep inducing components to get babies back to sleep. It’s important not to repetitively stigmatize normal infant behavior as a “problem” unless it is in fact a problem. The idea of different ways of viewing infant sleep (news flash: night waking is the norm) and information on how to support parents through this is also important to cover.
