She is a former pre-school teacher and a child visitation monitor and her workshops and classroom curriculum are used at schools throughout the United States. Pattie is the author of two children's books "No Trespassing – This is My Body!" and "Super Duper Safety School." She has been featured on Good Morning America, ABC World News, CNN, MSNBC, Dateline, and local TV news programs across the country. Host Joanna Port is Director at Crestwood Hills Preschool. She has a Masters in Education from Pepperdine University and a Masters in Social Work from USC.  For the past 25 years she has worked with families and children, as a therapist, an elementary school teacher, and as a parent consultant.
