Why?
I have no idea why this podcast was made. I think there is possibly an interesting story around the dynamics of a politician’s life in the closet and the sting… how society has undergone a paradigm shift around these issues. I find it really uncomfortable listening to somebody who undertook active steps to promote a powerful racist argument (supporting Powell) defending himself with an unchallenged argument that he was benign in this regard. I appreciate he has been treated unfairly by the press… it all comes over as entitled. What pain has he caused to others by his racist actions? I’m not saying he deserved it but I don’t think it warranted a podcast in his defence.

If you say something enough people will start to believe it. I urge people to listen to the many grass roots podcasts where countless police officers tell a very different story regarding this man’s account of things! Giving him a platform is a disgrace!
