“All in all the podcast is probably not worth listening to. It has elements of a really intriguing tone mixed throughout, sort of like Tannis, but it never quite pays off. It suffers from cliches, vague spiritualism, boorish elements of politics, and seems even a tad cheesy. It wasn’t all that bad, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it either. It had a sort of soap opera feel to it, especially by the halfway mark.”

Told almost entirely via chunks of longer expositional dialog from the main narrator, with occasional extra voices of other characters ... like a fictional Serial. “A wonderful little self-contained story that tells exactly the tale it sets out to and doesn’t drag it out until it stops being good. I wish more podcasts knew exactly what story they wanted to tell and stick to it. It’s one of my favorite introductory podcasts to new listeners!”
