Today is the second of a four part series featuring some of my Fruity Friends from the produce aisle. Maybe you’ve heard of the Fruit of the Spirit? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithful, gentleness and self-control. Maybe you’ve even learned a song to help you memorize those. Those are traits that God says we’ll grow when we allow His Spirit to live in us. Just as healthy trees produce good fruit, we should produce good fruit too! Today’s story features a fresh young banana and an old, brown kinda smelly old banana who, well, doesn’t have the best attitude anymore. I think you’ll agree that God is looking for fresh fruit.
