“The Patriots coaches are right to expand the offense and stretch what Jones should be doing year 2 — he shouldn’t be limited to a simple offense tailored to a rookie (which is what he did last year and what Zappe is doing now). If Mac can’t expand his game then he ain’t the guy — and I am a Mac supporter. It’s critical to see what Mac can become before we turn to an even less talented alternative (Zappe may have better intangibles, but even worse physical traits)… I don’t blame the coaches at all for expanding the offense — we arent going to win at level expanded with simpleton offense — see last years results against good teams…”
