Intense discussion between Salam and Shields was irritating. I want to watch Friday discussion between Shields and Brooks for an intelligent discussion of recent political events. Salam is articulate and impressed with his knowledge. He fails to acknowledge the knowledge of his more experienced peers. If I want to watch a verbal war of words, I’ll find another station. Salam does not represent the PBS News Hour as I have come to expect.

Nothing compares to Mark and David having an ideological yet friendly debate that gets straight to the issues and skips right over the finger-pointing. Please add the Double-Headers to the podcast so we can take even more Shields and Brooks with us.

I love this show but you can hear heavy breathing (I think it's Shields). It is very distracting when you listening to the others talk. This is a sound engineer's fault and could easily be fixed. Otherwise this is a great commetary on the weeks events.Read full review »
