Freaking fantastic podcast!
This is basically the podcast I never knew I needed in my life. Full disclaimer, I’m an actor so I love hearing about the technical side of using my voice, but this podcast is SO much more than that. Yes, it’s for people who use their voice as a part of their craft, but it’s actually for everyone. It’s about learning to really step into your power, claiming space, understanding yourself. And in understanding all of those things about ourselves we can find freedom. Samara’s expertise, along with her incredible guests, make for such interesting conversations. I’m just loving everything about this so, so much!

More reviews of Permission to Speak
Real, fluff-free, and interesting insights about what our speech reveals. The host is engaging and a good listener, too.

I’m hooked! Enjoying the interplay of both the physical and tangible voice with the metaphorical and purpose-driven voice. It also has helped me reflect on my own experiences with being told I speak too softly or need to speak up more in reviews at work, thank you!

The guest and the stories the guest bring are always very appealing. But one big distraction is the host tending to interrupt to share her thought and feelings. It would be a more smooth listening experience if the host can be striking a better balance between hosting and overtalking.
